We are trying to figure out Exodus 4:24-26. The Lord seems to be trying to kill someone, (Moses?) and then Ziporah circumsizes her son, and the Lord stops hunting. Why did it take the Lord so long to get whoever he was trying to kill? I mean, if he was hunting, how come Ziporah has time to do the surgery? Also is Ziporah talking to her son or Moses when she says "you are a bloody (relation by marriage) to me." And who is the Lord seeking?
We now have gone on to the plauges and Jack told us that there is a way to hold Cobras so that the go into a rigor mortis state. And then you can throw them down, and they will appear to come alive. So a snake that looks like a staff can appear to be made into a snake.
Who is Melchizedec? Reid is sure he is a theopheny. A god in the form of man. Reid is very random at times, because then he brought up the fact that Shalom means peace. I like Reid, but sometimes it appears that he likes to pull down big words, and big ideas. It is funny sometimes, because Jack is willing to show him where he uses the words incorrectly.
This is a really bad discussion. It is very random altogether, and has no focus, and has no major division which we can talk about.
