Busy, busy, busy
By patti | May 18, 2008
Thanks to all of you who visited and commented on my last post. Lorri, Ben will be living in Geneva. Hannah, I’ll email you about the math and phonics. I can only imagine how precocious your daughter might be.
I just got back from The Conference in the States in Kansas City last night. It is one of two major genealogical conferences held in the US every year. I had a great time and learned a lot. The night before the conference began I stayed with Memof6. It’s always good to have a local giving you directions. I had one of the easiest times I heard of making it to the conference location. And, as always, it was good to visit with the Memof6 and her children. …oh, and husband, too….although he was pretty busy fixing the lawn mower.

How fun you got to stay with the Mems! Jealous.

The Mems had a great time with you, too! Glad to see you made it to the conference without any problems.
DH kept asking about you. He’s a southern guy, you know, and in his family you always call when you make it to your destination. I also think he was hoping you’d stop by on your way home for another chat.
Btw, the lawnmower is fixed!!

Aww, well I’m sorry I didn’t call. On my way back I had someone with me, but I certainly might have a reason to come back to KC with the airport there and the Mid-Continent Library. His directions were perfect and so much easier than the ones given to conference attendees. The person who drove with me on the way home came the more round about way with someone else. She was impressed by the directness of the route Larry had proposed.

I’ve tagged you!
I have a young cousin (27) visiting who is a construction worker/ Contractor License holder from the state of California, and you might know somebody who could use his help (it’s free- he’s looking for stuff to do with his time and he’s here for a while)….=)
